How LifeSource Vitamins came into existence is a story of family and faith. It begins with my family and how my faith and the faith of others helped create a vitamin that will not only work but will help people live a healthier life.

Here is our story: LifeSource Vitamins began when I lost my father, Al Brightman to pancreatic cancer. It was 1990, I had just found out my father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. When I first heard the news I figured that my dad, who I considered to be a Super Hero, would beat it with no problem, as it turned out that was not the case and he died a few months later in June. With my dad’s passing I knew I wanted to find ways to help people become healthier, and live longer. I wanted to give people a way to prevent the loss my family and I had just endured. I had the desire but just didn’t know what to do. So I prayed…….

The death of a parent is one of the most excruciating moments in a persons’ life, and I highly suggest you tell your parents you love them and hug them each and every day. Once a Mom or Dad passes, you have to wait until you get to heaven to hug them again, but while they are here you have the ability to make sure that they know you love and value them for who they are and what they have done for you. I find that in the hustle and bustle of life that we sometimes neglect the ones closest to us. Hug and tell your loved ones relentlessly just how you feel about them. It was one of the hardest things that my family has ever had to endure. But out of this loss came hope, and the motivation to start LifeSource Vitamins.

Three weeks after my Father’s passing, I had sold one of my businesses that was in the Children’s Fitness & Entertainment industry and I was driving home from a business venture meeting that I was thinking of pursuing, but God had other plans. As I am sure you have heard this before, He told me what He wanted me to do. And it was crystal clear and absolute. I did not choose to be in the vitamin business, it was chosen for me and I have loved every minute of it. God laid out the plan for me, it was remarkable. When I say doors were opened for me to get into this business, I mean the doors were literally kicked in, like only God can do! So now it was time for me to get to work. I devoted the time and money to researching why some vitamins worked and why most did not. I also began studying what nutrients worked well with one another, which ones did not, which ones were all hype with absolutely no nutritional value. I also investigated which ones don’t upload to the bloodstream without the accompaniment of another transport nutrient, and which ones don’t work in powder form, and so on…

After getting such a wide array of conflicting information, I hired my own team of Doctor’s, Pharmacist’s, Nutritionist’s and Scientist’s to help me create vitamins and supplements that would actually work at the cellular level of the body. Most vitamins and supplements as everyone knows flow (excrete) through your body with very little uploading, and uploading is the only true way for supplements to be effective. It took us 3 years of formulations, and re-formulations to come up with our first tablet form Multi-vitamin. Since all of our studies, research and our double blind tests were so absolutely conclusive, in 1996, we started manufacturing these vitamins for the American population.

Now let’s fast forward to the present time, I am humbled by the fact that God chose me and with His guiding hand—a tiny company (that started out with one product) is now a thriving business with more than 300 supplements and that funds amazing Christian organizations that spread the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world. In essence, we work for God, and we know that there is no better job that we could have than the one we have at LifeSource Vitamins. We are blessed each and every day! We now ship to just about every country in the world, and the results are all the same, fantastic.

We have inspiring and fiercely loyal customers, and every day we hear from new customers and they tell us that God has led them to us, and how they were looking online for a vitamin company they could trust and poof, there we were. With all of the vitamin companies out there now, how could we possibly pop up? I think we all know the answer to that question. God provides!

As you know by now, LifeSource Vitamins is a company that answers to God in all we do, from the nutrients we choose to the way we run our business. We are loud and proud about our company, our faith and what we stand for and how and why this company was started. It was started to make a difference and that is exactly what we do.

• CREATE: We are so proud of the fact that we are a company who is committed to creating healthy people, no matter what the cost. We will not scrimp on nutrients ever! We will not buy nutrients from China! Health is our concern, not money!

• GIVE: We donate ALL of our proceeds to Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU), and The Jesus Film Project (Dr. Bill Bright's organizations), as well as World Vision, Compassion International and Key Life Ministries. We also have a network of young men and women who don’t have the monetary means but have a passion for going to seminary school that we help fund and we also help fund local food relief organizations nationwide and we are so proud to do so. This is why LifeSource Vitamins was started, to help people.

I am the youngest of 7 children with countless nephews, nieces and family members. Most, if not all of these family members, take our vitamins in one form or another, including my own 87 year old Mother Katie, so believe me when I tell you, we will always manufacture our vitamins with the best possible ingredients no matter what the cost and we will never use heat during the processing that will kill the nutritional value of our vitamins.
