CoQ10 and Heart Failure

With Heart Failure on the rise across the United States, there have been some unbelievable news from the New England Journal of Medicine. This review of clinical trials that have spanned from 1995 through 2014 found a 44% decline in sudden death rates among heart failure patients. The authors of this study attribute the astounding decrease to improvements in conventional treatment. (CoQ10 supplementation)

Ironically, a study published in March of 2015 found that 71% of cardiologists recommend to at least some of their patients. This same studied showed that CoQ10 was the very top supplement suggested overall by cardiologists around the country.

This could further explain the findings of another 2014 study that showed that when you add CoQ10 to conventional therapy, there was a 44% reduction in cardiovascular mortality amongst heart failure patients.

Suggested Dosage:

Month One: Start off for the first 30 days taking: 300-400mg daily

Month two and going forward: 100 – 200mg daily.
