In a Randomized Controlled Trial of overweight and diabetic patients with coronary heart disease that we between 40 – 85 years of age, 30 patients received 100 mg of CoQ10 daily for 8 weeks and 30 received placebo. The results were astonishing:

Results: The CoQ10 supplementation group had reduced serum insulin levels and improved insulin resistance. Pancreatic beta-call function also improved in the CoQ10 group of the study which enables more efficient insulin production.
