Sensitive & Acne Moisturizer

Clinically Tested & Proven Ingredients:

Contains: Vitamin C, Green Tea, Hyaluronic Acid, Organic Aloe, Organic Sunflower, Organic Jojoba, Emu Oil, Coconut Oil, Vitamin E & Black Willow Bark.

Zinc PCA:
There are numerous research studies that have suggested that Zinc PCA helps to control sebum production, limits bacterial proliferation, and relieves skin inflammation. Zinc PCA ranks at the top when it comes to sensitive and Acne-Prone skin. It is among very few ingredients that offer gentle effects on sensitive skin while still being very effective in skin conditions such as acne and rosacea.

Aloe Leaf Juice:
When combined with Hyaluronic Acid, face creams have a unique ability to increase and retain skin moisture. When hydrating the face and keeping your skin from overproducing sebum (Pore Clogging - Acne), and Aloe face cream will help promote a youthful and healthy complexion by increasing skin smoothness and providing a dewy, fresh complexion.

Sunflower Oil
: A non-comedogenic carrier oil that is highly absorbent and won't clog pores. It is also non-irritating for most people and can be used on all types of skin, including dry, normal, oily, and certainly Acne Prone.

Jojoba Oil:
Has soothing anti-inflammatory agents, healing properties, is moisturizing and is a natural antimicrobial. These properties suggest that jojoba oil could help you avoid breakouts as well as promote healing for mild to medium Acne.

Emu Oil:
Stimulates the skin to reduce Acne, the appearance of skin wrinkles, and rejuvenates aging or sun-damaged skin. Emu oil has also been recommended for use in the treatment of skin conditions, such as skin wounds and seborrheic dermatitis. It has also been shown to help with alopecia, rosacea, hypopigmentation, and shingles.

Coconut Oil:
Coconut oil is high in lauric acid, which helps kill the bacteria that cause Acne. Applying coconut oil to the skin can kill acne-causing bacteria and increase moisture, which may also reduce Acne scarring.

Green Tea:
Data used from eight different studies found that the polyphenols that can be found in green tea may help to reduce the amount of sebum secreted (Pore Clogging – Acne) by the sebaceous glands and get rid of Acne lesions when applied topically.

Vit C:
Vitamin C contains anti-inflammatory properties and helps reduce the redness and swelling that comes with acne. The results are more pronounced when you use this vitamin topically. It, therefore, helps improve the appearance of acne wounds. It may help reduce hyperpigmentation.

Hyaluronic Acid:
While hyaluronic acid can't fill in visible acne scars, it has been shown to help reduce redness and the visible appearance of acne. In addition, hyaluronic acid can help protect the skin, which is especially helpful for acne-prone skin, as it typically doesn't have a very strong lipid barrier.

Vitamin E:
Vitamin E is just one of the antioxidants touted as a potential acne treatment. Nutritionally speaking, vitamin E is an anti-inflammatory, which means it can help boost your immune system and help with cell regeneration. It's thought that these properties may specifically help with inflammatory acne, such as nodules.

Black Willow Bark:
Derived from the bark of the willow tree, Willow Bark Extract has been used for centuries to soothe irritated skin. Containing salicin, from which salicylic acid is derived—this versatile ingredient is both anti-inflammatory and antibacterial, clearing pores and alleviating acne and irritation. (Willow Bark Extract is standardized to 10% Salicylic Acid)

The 5 Main Steps of Skin Care Routines that work:

Think of your skin-care routine as consisting of 5 main steps:

The Most Important thing to note is that Consistency is Key! Every Board-Certified Dermatologist around the world says the same thing: Consistency, Consistency, Consistency.

Consistency, why is this so important? Our skin is so hyper-sensitive and thrives on a calm and routine-driven approach to the way we treat it. Every time we switch to the latest product, our skin has a reactionary process that must take place, and then a new routine must be set, so the skin is not in a relaxed environment. Find products you believe in, Be Consistent & Give it time!

Why Give it time? Once you have the right products, and your skincare routine is established, it is easier to maintain your skin from this point forward. We are all aging; and therefore, it is so important to have a solid skincare routine. Our skincare routine’s first goal is to slow down the aging process. Then the next step is to reverse what can be reversed i.e., Age/Dark Spots, Wrinkles, Acne, Rosacea. The results can be dramatic if you stick to your skincare routine and don’t fall for the next new product, find what you like, stick to it and watch what happens. Skin likes routine, which in turn makes your skin happy, which then makes your skin healthier: Diligent Skin Routine = Happy Skin = Healthier Complexion, plain and simple!
