Ultra Bone Builder

Microcrystalline Hydroxyapatite (MCHA)

LifeSource Vitamins Ultra Bone Builder includes the bioavailable Microcrystalline Hydroxyapatite (MCHA), which is a natural compound that makes up the crystalline matrix of our bones and teeth and is also the substance that gives them their rigidity. MCHA is a source of highly absorbable Calcium and Phosphorus, which are the major mineral components of bone. LifeSource Vitamins Ultra Bone Builder is a comprehensive bone support product, which also contains Magnesium and other important minerals, as well as Vitamins C, D, and K to aid in the synthesis and maintenance of bone tissue. Ultra Bone Builder provides a highly beneficial source of dietary calcium together with other nutrients that provide support for the maintenance of healthy bone structure and function*.

LifeSource Vitamins Ultra Bone Builder’s Microcrystalline Hydroxyapatite (MCHA) is derived exclusively from New Zealand and is thoroughly and completely tested for heavy metals to assure potency and safety.*

Bone health continues to be a key concern for people of all ages. Building good bone density begins when you are young by providing the nutrients that will lay the foundation for good bone health later in life.

Calcium is not only required for optimal bone health, it is also necessary for nerve impulse transmission and normal muscle contractions. More recent research suggests that other benefits may include weight management, colon health and the maintenance of healthy blood pressure.

Not all Calcium MCHA is created equal! Do not find the cheapest version of Calcium MCHA, in which you may be buying a bone meal with low absorption potential. Bone meal is not the same as Calcium MCHA. At LifeSource Vitamins, results are everything, nothing else matters with regards to supplements. This is a great dosage for long and steady usage to gradually help with your bone strength.

STUDY
:

Research on whole bone MCHA (Microcrystalline Hydroxyapatite), dates back to the 1960's, with the most recent work published in November 2008. Published scientific literature on whole bone MCHA, demonstrates its effectiveness at slowing or halting the loss of bone mineral density in postmenopausal women, improving symptoms of bone pain in those with osteoporosis and slowing or halting the progression of osteoporosis.

  • Microcrystalline hydroxyapatite concentrate (MCHA) is the best source of calcium, with the full spectrum of trace minerals that are found in healthy bones.*
  • LifeSource Vitamins MCHA is cold-processed to preserve the protein matrix and organic factors, and its crystalline structure is verified by x-ray diffraction studies.*
  • We add no other forms of calcium. Ultra Bone Builder also contains, manganese, boron, vitamin C, vitamin K2, and natural vitamin D3 – critical nutrients for optimizing calcium absorption and utilization.*
  • Even one or two capsules daily make an excellent calcium supplement.*
  • This also provides great supplemental calcium for expectant and nursing mothers. As always, consult your physician before taking any and all products.*

After the age of 50, your chances are greater than dying from breast cancer.

25% of patients die within a year of a hip fracture.

Areas to help repair bone density:

  • Ultra Bone Builder will improve the overall absorption of nutrients into your cells. As we age our cells become toxic and do not uptake nutrients efficiently. Our Ultra Bone Builder will start the process of increasing bone density.*
  • Ultra Bone Builder will turn on the repair process in your body. You can start giving your body the nutrients it needs, yet little happens because an aging body does not have enough growth hormones and other factors to repair itself. The healing process does not turn itself on easily and does not work rapidly as we age.*
  • This is where Ultra Bone Builder comes into play.*

Bones don’t necessarily grow in length after a specific period of time. However, it helps them to remain firm so that you do not have easy breakage and perfect posture of your spine.

As said by Consumer Health Digest:
One of the most expensive and complex forms of calcium is hydroxyapatite. This bone-building supplement is phosphorous-like calcium. It is defined in a way as a pre-building block to promoting bone growth. Most people who are at risk of contracting arthritis or osteoporosis should be taking this form of supplement. It’s often used as such in the prevention measure of these types of bone degenerative diseases. Don’t forget that with most supplements it’s also good to take a form of vitamin D. This will help your body to absorb the calcium without problems.

Web MD states: You've probably heard that calcium is important for bone health and treating -- or preventing -- osteoporosis. Happily, calcium seems to be everywhere these days. Not only is it naturally in dairy and other foods, but it now appears in many fortified products -- like oatmeal, cereal, protein bars, and orange juice. Calcium is also sold in countless supplements for bone health that line the aisles of your local drugstore.

And yet, it's not enough. "Most people still aren't getting enough calcium in their diets," says Shreyasee Amin, MD, a rheumatologist at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.

Why? Part of the problem isn't just that we're not eating or taking enough calcium. For calcium to be absorbed and used, we need to have the right levels of other things, such as vitamin D. If we don't, the calcium we take in just doesn't do us much good. So some of us could be drinking milk by the bucket and yet still not get the calcium we need. (this is why Ultra Bone Builder adds Vitamin D3, and we use MCHA as our calcium supplement) Critical to bone health!

Why Is Calcium Important for Bone Health?

Calcium is key in the building of new bone. And bone development occurs every day of your life. Just as you shed skin cells and grow new ones to replace them, your body naturally removes old bone and replaces it with new.

The pace of losing and growing bone differs depending on your age. When you were young, you made much more bone than you lost, which is why your bones got bigger and stronger. But the problems start when this balance tips too far in the other direction, and you start losing bone much faster than you can grow it.

Gradual bone loss begins in adulthood and becomes more serious after age 50. In women, the hormonal changes of menopause -- and the drop in estrogen levels that occur with it -- can greatly worsen the imbalance. The bones naturally lose mass, becoming more brittle.

Because calcium isn't produced by your body, the amount you have depends on the foods you eat.

Early Research

In 1983, a combined team of researchers from Hertford County Hospital and East Herts Hospital in London, England, conducted research using 40 people suffering from osteoporosis secondary to long-term prednisolone use. After 12 months, the group treated with microcrystalline hydroxyapatite experienced significantly less pain than the untreated group. While both groups showed bone mineral loss, the untreated group showed a much higher degree of bone mineral loss. The results of this study were published in "Current Medical Research and Opinion" in 1984.
