Was given these by a clinic. Did my own research and noticed they contain DHEA, which is not recommended during pregnancy. Why would you knowingly put DHEA in a prenatal vitamin. I’d like an explanation and I’m sure alot expecting mothers would since I was unknowingly taking something that can harm my baby without my knowledge.

You are entirely right to question this, and we completely understand your concern. This supplement was originally formulated for the preconception and fertility phase, where clinics widely recommended DHEA to support egg quality. Because many women transition straight from fertility treatments into pregnancy, it was included for that stage as it has been for 30+ years.
While there are still no studies showing that it causes harm, the medical community in 2025 has advised a more cautious approach due to a lack of long-term safety data. Because of this, this product is currently in reformulation to completely remove DHEA. We listen closely to our mothers, and your feedback reinforces just how important this update is.

I’ve been taking these for about a month. I only take one because I seem to be sensitive to too many vitamins. I would have to cut a “normal” women’s vitamin in half or I would have bad dreams. We are preparing to get pregnant, so just trying to prepare my body.
